KFLA Public Health reports 14 new COVID-19 cases over the last three days, active cases up to 36

KFLA Public Health has seen 14 new COVID-19 cases since Friday.

The new cases involve three females in their 20s, all who were in close contact with a previously known case, a health care worker in her 20s, a female in her 40s, a male age 10-29, five males in their 20s all who were in close contact with a known case, a male in his 20s with cause of infection under investigation, a male in his 40s under investigation and a male in his 20s that was deemed travel related. None of the current cases are listed as requiring a stay in a hospital.

Four previous cases have been listed as resolved.

That brings the total number of active cases in the region up to 36. KFLA’s highest number of active cases to date was on March 31 when there were 40 active cases.

The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic is now at 228, of which 192 have been resolved with no deaths. The community remains under a ‘green’ status.
