KFLA Public Health reports 11th death related to COVID-19, 32 new cases on Thursday

KFLA Public Health announced one person has died due to COVID-19 Thursday, the 11th death attributed locally to the virus since the start of the pandemic.

A total of 32 new COVID-19 cases were identified in KFLA as the active case count dropped to 295. One new outbreak was declared while two new hospitalizations were reported and one new admission to the ICU on ventilator. A pair of previous ICU cases are now on ventilators.

The ages of the latest cases were: Under five (four), 5-11 (four), 12-17 (one), 18-29 (six), 30s (six), 40s (three), 50s (four), 60s (two), 70s (one), 80s (one).

The method of transmissions were: close contact (six), under investigation (22), outbreak related (four).
