KFLA Public Health reports 10th death due to COVID-19, active case count drops to 295

KFLA Public Health reported a new death attributed to COVID-19 on Tuesday, the tenth since the start of the pandemic.

The health unit also recorded 29 new COVID-19 cases, leaving the active case count down slightly from 301 to 295. One new case was admitted to the ICU and four new outbreaks were declared.

The latest case ages break down as: Under 5 (two), 5-11 (four), 18-29 (10), 30s (three), 40s (three), 50s (one), 60s (two), 70s (three), 80s (one).

Method of transmissions were: close contact (six), under investigation (18), outbreak related (five).

Half of all COVID-19 cases in KFLA were exposed in household settings.
