Hometown U20 Napanee Express eager to capture Canadian gold on home turf

When the AFW U20 Napanee Express say they are representing Napanee at the U20 Men’s Canadians Fast Pitch Championships next week, they mean it.

The host Express are chalk full of local players enthusiastic about capturing a national title on home turf.

Representing the Express will be: Connor Brooks (Napanee), Gavin Brooks (Napanee), Will Meyers (Newburgh), Nic Mcgrayne (Picton), Ethan Tombs (Springbrook), Ty Kemp (Napanee), Brandon Barker (Enterprise), Aiden Reddick (Picton), Bryson Gilpin (Enterprise), Ty Branchaud (Metcalfe), Ty Franklin, Gavin Gibbons, Jacob Boutilier (Napanee), Kalib Stonefish, Chad Clark (Westport), Brad Barker (Port Perry)

and Aidan Yarde.

The coaching staff is made up of Cory Brooks (Napanee), Brent Barker (Enterprise), Rodney Meyers (Newburgh) Pat Severin (Kingston), Ryan Reynolds (Napanee) and Ed Mathews (Port Perry).

The Canadians run Aug. 15-20 at the Napanee Fairgrounds.
