On May 10, 2021 shortly after 6 p.m. the Lennox and Addington County Detachment OPP responded to a report of a cow wandering in downtown Napanee on Dundas Street.
Investigation revealed that the cow kicked its way out of a trailer that had been stopped on Dundas Street. The owner secured a new trailer and police were able to corral the cow causing it to back up into the new trailer. No people or animals were harmed in the interaction. The cow moooved along.
