Due to favourable spring conditions, Greater Napanee Emergency Services is lifting the current Partial Burn Ban for Greater Napanee, effective Saturday, May 15, 2021.
An Open-Air Burning Permit is required for open-air burning in Greater Napanee. Open-Air Burning Permits can be obtained online through the Town’s website, www.greaternapanee.com, on the ‘Burn Bans, Permits & Open-Air Burning’ page.
It is $15.00 for an open-air burning permit in Greater Napanee. Permits are valid for 365 calendar days from the day of purchase. Once an Open-Air Burning Permit is purchased, residents must call 1-833-411-8482 (the number provided on the online permit registration page) and register the location of the fire before doing any open-air burning. Residents are reminded that open-air burning is only permitted two (2) hours before sunset until two (2) hours after sunrise.
