Greater Napanee residents are advised that on Dec. 1, 2022, the Town of Greater Napanee and partnering organizations are conducting an Emergency Response Exercise in the Selby area.
This exercise allows the municipality to test the Emergency Response Plan and its operational readiness in the event of a declared emergency. Due to the nature of the exercise, residents in the area are advised that they will see and hear emergency vehicles responding with lights and sirens but are advised that this is not a true emergency.
There will be signage in the area to identify that the exercise is taking place.
