It was Black Friday for the Napanee Raiders offense tonight at the SPC as they scored a great deal on goals in a 14-4 shellacking of the visiting Amherstview Jets.

This one was over early as Napanee struck six times in the opening 20 minutes.

Riley Steeves had a natural hat trick, scoring two goals in the final two minutes of the first and another on the power-play at the 7:43 mark of the second. Cullen Hinds also lit the lamp three times, Austin Labelle and Sebastian Kilcommons each had a pair while Jake Campbell, Kyle Hancock, Ryan Casselman and Griffen Conger had singles.

Jeremy Piazzi earned the win, turning away 27 shots. Keegan Paulette took the loss, allowing the first six goals before giving way to Hayden Ford for the final two periods.

Napanee’s red hot offense will look to make it three straight games with double digit goals tomorrow night when they visit the last place Campbellford Rebels. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
