Greater Napanee Emergency Services and surrounding fire departments have been gifted an interactive safety educational trailer on wheels.
Purchased through an $80,000 donation from TransCanada’s Community Development Fund, the trailer is equipped with a TV, generator and emergency lights. GNES plans to bring the trailer to community events and gathers to pass on messages of fire safety. The trailer will be shared with several fire halls across Frontenac and Lennox and Addington.
“It’s an incredible asset which we and other local departments are very fortunate to have,” said Kevin Duncan, fire prevention officer with GNES.
