Four NDSS track and field athletes headed to OFSAA

NDSS’ track team saw four of its athletes qualify for OFSAA following a strong showing at last week’s East Regionals.

Jack Gregory finished second in the 1,500 metre and first in the 3,000 metre to advance in both races.

Riley Bird-Lyman placed second in the 100 metre, Sadie Lupton fourth in long jump and Meg Miller was third in pole vault.

OFSAA’s track and field meet will be held June 8-10 in Ottawa.

-NDSS’ baseball team continued its strongest season to date, reaching the EOSSAA finals, coming up one win shy of advancing to OFSAA.

NDSS opened the tournament with a win over St. Mary’s and then defeated St. Joe’s to reach the finals against Kemptville’s St. Michaels.

-NDSS’ girls rugby team are scheduled to kick off their OFSAA tournament this afternoon in Belleville against Lampton Central.
