Finders keepers: art and found returns to Greater Napanee on March 12

Local Napanee artists will be participating in the Art and Found Day happening on March 12.

This global initiative of Art and Found Day, is a day when thousands of free artworks from artists all over the world will be placed within their local communities for neighbouring residents to find.

Artists choose one or more artworks – it could be a painting, photograph, drawing, handmade item or music album. Each piece is packaged up safely and clearly marked with the hashtag #ArtandFoundDay with an additional note on the inside with information about the piece and the artist. Artworks will be dropped off within the artists’ communities on March 12.

Several local artists will be participating including Lisa Ray Koenig, Jeanne Hudson, Joanne Kells Chalmers, and Tammy Hood, among others.
