Exceptional showing for GNGC at Smiths Falls

Greater Napanee Gymnastics Club sent a large contingent of athletes to compete in Smiths Falls earlier this month, returning home with a large bounty of medals and ribbons.

Napanee’s Elida Embury finished first overall at Level 6, age 12-13, with first on bars, vault and floor while teammate Allianna Craig was second overall with first on the beam and second on bars, vault and floor.

Abby Boyd was first for age 14-15, with a first place finish on bars and beam and second on vault and floor. Aleyah Seale was third overall, with a second on bars and third on vault, beam and floor.

In the 16 and over Trinity Herrington was second overall, with a first on beam, second on vault and bars, third on floor. Natalie Post was third overall, with a first on beam and vault, fourth on bars and floor.

In Level 5, age 10-12, Rya Nazzer placed second in all disciplines to finish second overall. Gabby Cammaart was third, earning third from the judges in all disciplines.

In age 14 and over, Ashley Scott was first with a first in floor, second on beam and vault and third on bars. Emma Dillon was fifth overall with a second on bars, fifth on floor and vault, sixth on beam.

In Level 4 age 14 and over Bailey Duncan placed fourth, with a third on vault, fourth on bars and beam, fifth on floor.

In Level 4 age 12-13, Branwyn Lupton was third overall with a second on beam, third on floor and vault and fourth on bars. Marley Lambert was fourth, with a first on bars, fourth on floor, beam and vault.

In Level 4 age 10-11 Hattie Embury took home the top spot, placing first in all categories. Isla Embury was second, placing second on floor and bars, third on vault and fourth on beam.

In Level 3, age 12-13 Ally Maschke earned first, with a first on bars, second on floor and third on beam and vault. Hailee Simpson was seventh, with a fourth on vault, sixth on beam, eighth on floor and vault.

In Level 3, age 11 Carys Wood was 10th, with a fifth on beam and bars, sixth on floor, ninth on vault.

In Level 3, age 9-10, Elizabeth Miller was third, with a second on vault, floor and beam, third on bars. Sadie Lupton was sixth with a second on vault, fifth on beam and floor, eighth on bars. Avery Greyling was seventh, with a third on beam, fifth on vault, sixth on floor, ninth on bars.

In Level 2, age 11 Peytan Turriff was first overall, earning first on vault, bars and beam with a third on floor.

In Level 2 , age nine-10 Anastasia Braham was first, earning first in bars, beam, floor and vault.
