CORBIN, Lainey Rose
You came into this world at 33 weeks 1 day,
We were so surprised we didn’t know what to say,
It’s a girl I said with such embrace,
I turned to mom and saw a big smile on her face,
You brought so much joy in the 8 short days,
You were beautiful in so many ways.
A fighter you were, mighty and strong,
You battled so hard as the doctors and nurses helped you along,
What we didn’t know is we would have to say goodbye,
You were sent to heaven to be with all of the other angels in the sky.
On Thursday December 7, 2023 Lainey Rose Corbin passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving parents at Kingston General Hospital. Lainey was a beautiful strong baby girl born on November 30th 2023 but unfortunately succumbed to an illness after just 8 days on earth.
During her short time she touched many lives and will be remembered forever by family. Lainey Rose Corbin is the daughter of Jena Brown and Travis Corbin of Camden East, Ontario. Lainey Corbin is survived by two siblings, Loui Corbin and Paisley Cox. Her maternal grandparents are Vernon and Kathy Brown of Camden East; and paternal grandparents are late Gary Corbin and Angela Corbin, of Enterprise. She will be dearly missed by all of her Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
A private celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Lainey Corbin’s name to UHKF Foundation – Intensive Care Unit- Kidd 5. Kingston Health Sciences Centre. 76 Stuart Street, Kingston ON. K7L 2V7.
