CLAIR, Charles
Passed away at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee, on Monday, December 4, 2023. Charles Joseph Clair of Verona at age 87. Dear son of the late Charles Clair and Delia (Murphy). Beloved husband of Jean Clair (Baxter) and step-father to Sandra Crawford (David) of Verona. Grandfather of Adam Crawford and Geoffrey Crawford (Jenna). Great-grandfather to Carson and Gavin and Jamie and Jaxon. Brother of Rita Cullen (late Glen) of Peterborough and Jerome Clair (Melody) of Harrowsmith and the late Gerard Clair (Sharon of Verona) and Catherine Perrault (late Jay). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family received friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Tamworth on Friday afternoon December 8 from 2-4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Annunciation in Enterprise on Saturday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Annunciation Cemetery. Reception to follow in the parish hall. Memorial donations made to the Annunciation Church Building Fund or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
