The many talents of the Bath Artisans will be on display April 27 and 28 during the Spring Delights Show and Sale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bath’s St. John’s Hall.

Over 20 local artists will take part, covering a wide range of styles.

“Our group has a variety of art types, we have painters in water, oil, acrylic, alcohol ink and we also have members who work with glass,” said Doris Power who is set to take part in her third Show and Sale. “We have people who make jewellery, we do wood turning and photography.”

Powers specializes in watercolours and oils and her work can be found throughout the area, including the Amherstview branch of the Lennox and Addington Library. She has been featured in the Visual Arts of Brampton juried show and was featured in Bath’s Lakeside Studio Gallery.

Admission to the April 27-28 show is free. Along with the chance to purchase original art, guests can also enter a draw to win a framed piece of art that was crafted by members of the group. Money raised from the raffle will go towards local Lions’ Clubs.

The Bath Artisans were founded in 1991 and currently has 35 members, two of which still active since Day One. They hold monthly meetings at St. John’s Hall and also host a Monday drop in paint group led by members but is open to anyone. The cost to participate is $5 and it runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
