Shoppers looking for that one-of-a-kind holiday gift will want to mark Nov. 4 and 5 in their calendar for the annual Bath Artisans Show N’ Sale at the St. John’s Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The holiday tradition is back for another year as local artisans will line the Bath hall with their own unique creations.

The show is an opportunity to show out stuff as well as a chance to sell some of it,” said Yolanda Madarnas, a member of the Bath Artisans who specializes in glass. “It’s a nice opportunity to network, to be visible in the community.”

The Bath Artisans is made up of about 40 artists who meet regularly at the hall to work on their creations while holding three shows a year, one in the spring, another during the Canada Day weekend and then one in early November which serves as a pre-cursor to the holiday season. At this upcoming show over 20 of the members will have their artwork on display and for sale.

The art will range from small to large and the artists will be on hand to answer any questions and explain the detail that went into their creation. As always, the show will feature a wide variety of art forms.

Over time since it was first founded in the early 1990s, the group expanded to include other mediums of art,” said Madarnas. “Woodworkers have come in, glass artists, fibre artists, potters, photographers, there’s one lady who makes hand-made greeting cards, that are pop-up three dimensional that are really quite whimsical. Over time it has expanded than more than just physical two dimensional art on a wall.”

There is no admission to attend the show.

St. John’s Hall is located at 212 Church St. in Bath.
