For a second straight year, Napanee’s Avril Lavigne has been crowed the Juno’s Fan Choice Award winner.
The Head Above Water, Sk8er Boi, I’m With You singer was announced as the winner during a special virtual broadcast of the awards, which celebrates the top Canadian artists. Nominees in the Fan Choice Award category are determined by sales and then voted on by the public. Lavigne also took home the award in 2019 and in 2005.
Her latest release, Head Above Water, was also nominated for Pop Album of the Year, but lost out to Alessia Cara.
