Stopping for a Coffee
at the local Coffeeshop
Something caught My attention
making My Heart stop,
In the frosted window
plainly there to see
Someone initialed ” R ” had
written he loved ” E “,
I found it coincidental
thinking then of you
And of everything that
we’d both been through,
Through this simple proclamation
to his loving ” E “
” R ” had expressed himself
but far more importantly,
Sometimes all it takes
is something to remind
Love like this today
one will rarely find,
Written in the window
plainly there to see
Written simply was how
that ” R ” loved ” E “.
