To friends of Sherrill Wright:
I am sad to tell you that, after battling cancer and kidney failure, Sherrill died March 30th, 2023 quickly and peacefully, with the application of the Medical Assistance In Dying (MAiD) procedure. The procedure requires personal affirmation throughout and until the final moment. Sherrill provided this and expressed heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the attending medical professionals. She praised their compassion and dedication to relieving her suffering.
