World Barefoot Water Ski Records Could Fall Today In Selby

Conditions are ideal for record breaking trick runs at the World Barefoot Water Ski Championships, being held today at Selby’s Dream Lake.

Top athletes from across the world will be making their runs this morning, followed by junior girls slalom. The senior mens slaloms will begin at 11:55 a.m. and run through 5 p.m. this afternoon.

The slalom and tricks semifinals will be held tomorrow with the finals in all events starting Thursday and running through Saturday.

The event is open to members of the public and free of charge. Dream Lake is located at 1632 County Rd 11 in Selby.
