World Barefoot Water Ski Championships Underway In Selby

The action is underway at the 2018 IWWF World Barefoot Water Ski Championship, which runs through Saturday at Selby’s Dream Lake, located at 1632 County Rd. 11.
Athletes from all over the world will compete through the week in slalom, tricks and jumping starting with preliminaries with the finals getting underway on Thursday and wrapping up on Saturday.
The Open Women’s Series 2 Tricks preliminaries will get underway around 2:30 p.m. today.

The event is open to the public and free of charge. Starting tomorrow live entertainment will following each day’s competition. The action picks up again tomorrow morning starting at 7 a.m.
