February is Women’s Institute Month and the Lennox and Addington WI branch has teamed with Gray’s IDA to help the females in need across the community.

Throughout the rest of the month, the L&A WI will be hosting a feminine hygiene products drive. Items collected during the campaign will be donated to the Morningstar Mission and the Salvation Army. Gray’s IDA Drugstore has agreed to match every product donated.

Donations can be made at Napanee’s Gray’s IDA, located at 18 Dundas Street W or the Deseronto location at 364 Main Street.
This coming Friday will mark the 124th anniversary of the founding of the L&A WI. With branches across the world, WI tries to initiate projects that benefit with communities at all times, but especially in February.
