WHITNEY, Allan Cyril Abraham
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Allan C. Whitney on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in his 95th year. Cherished son of the late Cecil and Minnie Whitney. Predeceased by his beloved first and second wives, Madeline (Caine) and Earla (Fox). Allan had four devoted children; Cathy Kiser (late Robert), Mary Whitney, Allan Whitney Jr. (Roberta) and Darryl Whitney (Victoria). Predeceased by his step-son, Lee Wilcox. Allan held a cherished role of grandfather to his grandchildren; Aaron Kiser (Lisa), Neil Kiser (Lindsay), Sarah Anonichuk-Bedore, Melissa Gaskin (Ryan), Jason Whitney, Jeffery Whitney (Crystal), Benjamin Whitney and Olivia Whitney. He was also the proud great-grandfather to: Addyson Kiser, Skyla Gaskin, Owen Gaskin, Gage Whitney, Haisley Whitney, Kane Whitney, Emma Grundy and James Peacock. Survived by siblings, Margaret Brohm (Donald) and Charles Whitney (late Shirley). Predeceased by siblings; Barbara J. Wild (late Bud), John Whitney and Robert Whitney (late Jean).
Following cremation, visitation will be held at Rushnell Funeral Homes Belleville (80 Highland Avenue 613-968-5588) on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel immediately following at 2:00 pm, reception to follow. A private interment will be held at a later date. Officiating is Donald Brohm. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society and the Westgate Lodge Residence Fund, would be greatly appreciated.
