It is with gratitude that I thank the Greater Napanee Community for helping us celebrate VON Week.
From the Town of Napanee proclaiming the week and lighting up Springside Park Falls in Blue and Loyalist Township flying the VON flag; to the many, many organizations who adorned their roadside signs with this year’s theme “Compassion Where It Counts”; to the media coverage by the Napanee Beaver and myFM 88.7; and to the thumbs up and heart emojis on social media, the support has been heartwarming.
I want to recognize the staff and volunteers who, each and every day, provide the services that are helping to keep seniors in their homes and safe. You truly do provide compassion where it counts, we couldn’t do the work we do, without you!
