Virtual Peace Education Program running Feb. 10 to April 14

Tamworth resident Colin Speirs (along with several other volunteers), aims to help L&A community members foster the resilience to weather these challenging times by offering the Peace Education Program, a free 10-week course via Zoom on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. Feb. 10 to April 14.

This series of 10 one-hour video-based workshops provides an opportunity to recognize and learn about one’s own inner strengths by focusing on themes such as Appreciation, Self-Awareness, Understanding, Choice, Hope and more. The program helps participants discover their own innate resources and the possibility of inner peace.

Each workshop consists of videos and animated stories drawn from founder Prem Rawat’s over 50 years of international talks, media interviews and insights. This ground-breaking program has proven effective in a variety of settings including community centers, youth groups, schools, adult education groups, veterans’ groups, healthcare

settings, seniors’ centers, homeless shelters, drug rehabilitation facilities and correctional institutions and since 2012, has been offered in over 70 countries, in more than 30 languages.

The Prem Rawat Foundation provides access to course materials to organizations & volunteers free of charge. To learn more about the program including reviews, endorsements and sample course materials visit The Prem Rawat Foundation website: www.tprf.org/pep
