The D&D Electrocraft U18 Napanee Stars, needing just one win to advance to the Provincial Tier 1 Final weekend, came on strong in Game 2 facing Douro at the SPC.
Ethan Boutilier and Caleb South scored to give them a lead, but late in the second, it was tied at two. Jayden Holden was able to break lose to score the winner, assisted by Kohen Cutler and Blake Wood. The Dukes pressed in the third, but Owen Kish would ice the win with an empty net goal from centre ice. Shots were even at 28 each, and Duoro won the faceoff battle 20-24.
The Finals will be played in Kingston April 5-7.
