The Napanee Desjardins Insurance U13 Stars started their round robin playoffs with a clear 7-2 victory over Campbellford. After spotting their opponents a goal, the locals made it 5-1 by the end of the first. They would add a goal in the second and third, the final one a nifty toe-drag move through the defence by Ben Kerr to complete his hat trick. Other goal scorers were Wes Davey, William Babcock, Liam Mulder, and Colton Lockridge. They outshot their guests 31-12. In Brighton, they steamrolled over their opponents 9-4 on goals from Brock Alaver, Cooper Seaton, Oliver Kimmett, Liam Mulder (two), and Ben Kerr (four). They lead the four team round robin.

After dropping a 4-3 decision to Prince Edward County in game one, the U15 Stars’ second outing was also a tight affair which ended in a 1-1 tie. With 3:20 left in the second, a County shot found its way over the Star goalie’s glove for the first tally. The locals got it back on Blake Wood’s goal, assisted by Devin Robinson. Having been outshot 6-5 and 10-9 in the first two frames, the locals played a stronger third for an overall 22-19 advantage.

The U18 Stars travelled to Frontenac for their second game to lose 4-0 in front of a boisterous crowd. This evens their record at 1-1 in playoff action.

The U11s, after winning in Stirling, tied Campbellford 3-3, on the strength of goals by Clayton Manion, Brock Gunter, and Cooper Plumley. In Frontenac, they earned a 5-2 win thanks to tallies by Gunter (with a natural hat trick), Chase Castagnier, and Maddux Hartwick. On Sunday, the boys lost to those same Frontenacs 7-3. Hartwick opened the scoring, finding the open side. It was 1-1 when Hartwick picked up a loose rebound. Keegan Wilde restored the lead at 3-2 going in alone to fire top-shelf, but Frontenac scored five unanswered goals to put the game away. The locals were outshot 28-21.

The Conger’s Plumbing U13 AEs put forth a strong showing in a 6-0 win in Marmora. Goal scorers were Jacob Lyons (3), Jadon McNamee (2), and Jackson Boyle. Nathan Zwiers earned the shutout in net. The official shots on goal were 55-8 in favour of Napanee. On Sunday, facing Norwood, the AE squad fell behind by two, and could not recover, losing 3-1. Caleb Scrimshaw scored for the Stars. Shots were 19-19.
