Twelve new COVID-19 cases reported in KFLA on Thursday, active case count up to 30

KFLA Public Health reported 12 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, several of which have been traced to an outbreak at Queen’s University, bringing the active case count in the region up to 30.

The latest cases involve: two males, between the ages of 10-19, under investigation, two females, age 10-19, under investigation, one female, age 10-19, outbreak related, four males, age 10-19, outbreak related, two females, age 10-19, close contact and one female, under 10, outbreak related.

One previous case has been identified as a variant of concern.

Two previous cases were listed as resolved.
