Three new cases of COVID-19 reported in KFLA on Monday

KFLA Public Health announced three new cases of COVID-19 on Monday-all three listed as females under the age of 20.

Two of the latest tests were close contacts of previous positive cases. The third is under investigation.

The latests positives brings the number of active cases in the region up to 15. Since the start of the pandemic there have been 132 cases, 117 of which have recovered.

The region remains listed as ‘yellow’ meaning active cases are rare and there are fewer than two active outbreaks. None of the current cases are listed as requiring a stay in the hospital.

On Monday the province of Ontario set a new high with 700 cases reported in one day.
