THOMPSON, Marion Doreen (nee Legrow)
Passed away peacefully December 24, 2023 at the John M. Parrott Centre at age 89. Beloved wife of James Thompson for 71 years. Loving mother of Paul (Deb), David (Lorena), Yvonne Keech (Myron) and Heather Brown (Lester). Nanny to Melissa (Jon), Michael (Lauren), Rob (Kristal), Nicki (Carson), Mesha (Petr), Brittany, Amanda (Pat), Amelia (Brent), Chris (Melissa), BethAnn (Ben) and Taylor (Alex). Survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents Frank and Ruth Legrow and siblings Kaye, Myrtle, Gerald and Peter. Survived by sister Betty Wagar. Marion was president of the Lenadco Auxiliary for many years, and a longstanding member of the Napanee Fair Board and Maple Ridge Women’s Institute. Marion enjoyed knitting, crafts and playing cards and in earlier years gardening, canning and baking. Cremation has taken place and as per Marion’s wishes no service will be held.
