The family of the late Robert Gaffney wishes to express our sincere thank you to family and friends for their many acts of kindness and support during Robert’s recent death. A special thank you to all those who made donations, phone calls, text messages, sent flowers and cards, brought food, offered prayers, Masses, and support at the visitation and funeral Mass. We appreciated this so much. Thank you to Dr. Dan Curran, Dr. Charlotte Bowes, Dr. Sandra Cowan, Liz Curran NP, and the staff of Tamworth Medical Clinic, and also to Dr. Catherine Lowe for all the wonderful care and compassion. To the Palliative Team from St. Elizabeth, we will forever be so thankful for your support in our home; Valerie Cooper NP, Heather RN, Michael RN, and Kim PSW. To Hannah Funeral Home, Lindsey and Brenda. thank you for your guidance and professionalism during this very difficult time. We will forever be grateful for your meticulous detail and affection towards our family. Thank you to Father Brian Russell for your visits and for offering prayers at the Funeral Home and offering the funeral Mass for Robert. Thank you to Anne Kerr and Keirnan Kennelly for the beautiful music, you both were amazing. A special ‘thank you’ to Robert’s siblings: Marilyn, Susan and Roger for doing the readings during the funeral Mass. Thank you to the Pallbearers: Jeff Gaffney, Chris Gaffney, David Gaffney, Tom Breen, Lucas McDonald and Hannah Dickson. Robert (Dad, Uncle Bobby) chose you all for a very special reason.
