Suspect sought in armed robbery of downtown Napanee bank

Napanee OPP are seeking this male in conjunction with an armed robbery in downtown Napanee on Friday.

Napanee OPP are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify a male involved in an armed robbery this afternoon at the Royal Bank of Canada on Dundas Street in downtown Napanee.
Officers were dispatched to the armed robbery at 12:23 p.m.

Officers arrived on scene within minutes. The male suspect fled on foot. The Tactics and Rescue Unit with the OPP attended at scene with a canine unit in an attempt to locate the suspect with negative results.

Photos were secured of the suspect and police are looking for assistance in identifying the male. He is described as a white male in his 30s, 5’8″ to 6′ tall, medium build, scruff on his face. He was wearing baggy jeans, a white t-shirt, black hoodie, a black ball cap and had two sets of sunglasses one on his face the other above the brim of his ball cap.
