Local artist Lisa Ray Koenig, Morningstar Mission executive director Kevin Alkenbrack, fundraiser organizer Saeid Tahamtan, artist Monica Lapajne, and Napanee Home Hardware’s Dave Hart gathered at the Mission’s warming centre for a $1,003 cheque presentation on Wednesday, donated to the Mission. The money was raised during the Spread the Love cookie bake sale, which featured cookies baked by the Tahamtan family sold at Napanee Home Hardware, along with an online auction of the two paintings.
