Lennox and Addington’s Seniors Outreach Services will once again be offering free tax filings from now until April 28.
The program is open to those who are 55 years and older with a single person income of a maximum of $35,000 or a two person household maximum income of $45,000. The filings are available for 2020 taxes only.
Those that are self-employed, have business or rental income and expenses, have filed for bankruptcy, have capital gains or losses or are completing for a deceased person are not eligible for the program.
Documents can be dropped off at 12 Richmond Park Dr. in Napanee, which must include all documentation and contact information, including date of birth and telephone number. Spousal returns must be submitted together.
Due to COVID-19, L&A SOS is not able to offer in person assistance for this year’s income tax return.
