The Napanee Novice BB Stars had a solid weekend of hockey shutting out Brighton 8-0 in a Thursday road game and then defeating Lakefield 7-2 on Sunday. Goalie Matthew Travers had a strong game, as did goal scorers Keagan York (two),  Mason Whalen (two), Emmett Twiddy, Jack Sutton and Hudson Conger.

The L&A Mutual Atom AE squad also put in a sharp performance to win 9-2 in Tweed.  Facing a quality Campbellford crew on Sunday, Carter Cork was exceptional between the posts for the locals to keep the score close. Payton Brooks tallied first and Brock Alaver made it 2-1 on a long shot that eluded the netminder, but the Stars were down 4-2 after two.  After trading goals in the third frame, one a marker by Cruz Maracle, the result was a 5-3 final.

The Joyce’s Meat & Deli Atom BBs romped 18-0 in Bancroft, and 8-1 in Lakefield to continue to lead their league. To date, they have outscored their opponents 116-9.

The Napanee Peewee BBs faced Campbellford at home on Sunday, and came away with a hard fought 5-2 win.  They ran their record to 6-0 having allowed a minuscule three goals so far this season.

The Peewee AEs played three games in three days. At Amherstview, they fell 5-3 to the Jets. Home to Douro on Saturday they lost 8-2.  Goalie Ben Buxton was very busy, while Rhett Brady and Nate Vanberkel each scored. Sunday at the SPC, they were solid 9-2 winners over Tweed. Goal scorers were Owen Kish (three), Carter Slaven (two), Noah Nugent (two), Owen Dwyer and Coulson South. Goalie Hudson Wiltshire got the win.

The Napanee Exit Realty Acceleration Bantam Stars continue to play skillful hockey, this time earning a 9-0 shutout in Tweed facing their AE team.

The Midget Stars remain in first place after an 8-3 win in Drouro. Back home on Saturday, they rolled over Norwood by a 13-1 score to maintain their perfect league record. The netminders’ combined goals against average is a measly 1.50. Against Norwood, Mason Barker had a hat trick, while Cal DuChene, Josh Cudd and Ryan Kirkpatrick each got a pair and Adam Burger, Liam Wilkinson, Kaden Holmes and Corbin Gibson netted singles.  Emerson Kennelly was the winning goalie.
