Seven new COVID-19 cases reported in KFLA on Thursday, active case count down to 10

KFLA Public Health reported seven new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, but noted one case from yesterday had been transferred to another health unit and three of today’s cases were already considered resolved.

The net result is KFLA has 10 active COVID-19 cases. Eight previous cases were also listed as resolved.

the latest cases involve a female in her 80s, close contact, a male in his 60s, close contact, a male in his 50s, close contact, a females in her 70s, close contact, a female in her 60s, under investigation, a female age 10 to 19, under investigation and a female in her 20s, under investigation.

Two people remain in hospital due to COVID-19, one of which in the ICU.

Since the start of the pandemic this region has seen 651 cases, 640 of which have been resolved with one lab confirmed death.
