The first, and hopefully annual, Santa’s Workshop Craft Show, a fundraiser for the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital (LACGH), will be taking place next month at the Deseronto Waterside Market & Storage over a two-day span.

The event will take place at 240 Main St., Deseronto on Dec. 4 – 5 and will run from 10 am – 5 pm both days.

The Beaver spoke with Jasmine Bailey, organizer of the event about what vendors to expect and where their money will be going if they choose to donate.

“The event will feature 20 different vendors over the two-day span including local artists, handmade crafts, some small marketing businesses and a dessert vendor,” Bailey stated. “There will also be a hot chocolate stand and a silent auction with proceeds going to LACGH, as well as setups where you can just donate to the hospital if you wish.”

Items included in the silent auction will be from the vendors included in the show.

“I’m hoping to raise at least $500-$1,000 for the hospital,” expressed Bailey. “I’m not trying to have it too high as it is our first year.”

Bailey added that they are no longer accepting vendors for the show as all the spots have been filled.
