Rural Frontenac Lennox and Addington Allied Health Team is partnering with the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) to host a hybrid fall prevention program for seniors.
The free 12-week program gets underway May 10 and is offered both in person and virtually over Zoom. Instructors will focus on improving strength, balance, endurance and health while also demonstrating how to minimize the risk of falls with simple changes.
The program is open to older adults in Greater Napanee looking to improve health knowledge and return to physical activity and a low-moderate intensity.
In-person classes will take place at 310 Bridge St. W in Napanee. The program will run Wednesdays from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
