Napanee Salvation Army's Abby Mills (centre) accepts a $500 cheque from Juanita Everett of the Retired Teachers of Ontario (RTO-ERO), executive district 20, to support the Napanee Community Garden. The garden, which is located at 517 County Rd. 8 in Napanee, is cared for by the volunteers pictured above, with the crops donated to the Napanee food bank. The land was donated by Gord Schermerhorn and the water is provided by Greater Napanee Emergency Services.
