The frigid temperature outside the SPC couldn’t slow down the Napanee Raiders’ scorching hot offense as they pumped out six goals in tonight’s 6-1 win over the Picton Pirates.

Austin Labelle had a pair of goals while Ryan Casselman, Devon King, Griffen Conger and Riley Steeves each had one.

Jeremy Piazzi was nearly perfect in net but was bested by Picton’s Devon Morrison with 9:20 left in the third period. Despite the comfortable lead the Raider net-minder was kept busy, facing 28 shots on the night.

Napanee will look for their 10th straight win tomorrow night when they travel to Port Hope for a meeting with the second place Panthers. Puck drop is 7:30 p.m.
