Bidding is now open for the Napanee Raiders’ 2020 Pink in the Rink Sweater Auction, which runs right up until their Jan. 24 home game against Gananoque.
Fans once again have the opportunity to buy the pink sweaters the Raiders will wear that game, which proceeds going to the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital chemo unit. To date the team has raised over $5,000 combined over the last couple of years from their once a season event.
Bids can be placed on the team’s Facebook page by searching 2020 Pink in the Rink Sweater Auction, hosted by the Napanee Raiders. On the page fans will find graphics of the back of each players’ jersey. They can then enter their bid under their prefered player jersey’s photo, starting with a minimum bid of $50 and raising in $5 increments. Bidding will continue until the second period of the Jan. 24 game.
