With last month’s teddy toss game postponed due to weather, the Napanee Raiders have announced Jan. 12 as the makeup date.
Fans are encouraged to bring new or like new stuffed animals to the game and be prepared to hurl them onto the ice when the Raiders score their first goal of the game. The players will then round up the toys and they’ll be donated to less fortunate kids in the community. The Raiders will face Gananoque that night, with a 7:30 p.m. puck drop at the SPC.
In the more immediate future, the Raiders get set to host the Picton Pirates tonight for a 7:30 p.m. showdown at the SPC.
