Motorists who travel to Prince Edward County via the Quinte Skyway Bridge will need to find an additional route for the evenings of Dec. 5-9.
There will be full mainline nightly closures of Hwy 49 at the Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge from Monday, Dec. 5, to Friday, Dec. 9, 2022. The closures will take place every night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and are intended for the installation of the Modular Expansion Joint at the south abutment of the bridge.
During these time periods the highway will be closed, and no traffic will be permitted to pass over the bridge. Refer to the following website for the Glenora Ferry as an alternative route: http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/ontario‐511/ferries.shtml.
