Political interference is obstruction of justice

Mike Bossio has crossed a bridge. He has also burned one behind him. He has chosen to support a prime minister who has admitted to trying to fix a criminal charge against a constituent.

Political interference in the prosecution of a criminal case is obstruction of justice in Canada and every other country with the rule of law. This is no small matter.

The replacement of Jody Wilson-Raybould has an uncanny resemblance to the firing of FBI director James Comey with one important difference. The U.S. President never admitted to wrongdoing. Our prime minister just did.
