Police release photo of person of interest in downtown Napanee assault

Police are seeking this person as a person of interest in a Feb. 17 assault that took place on Dundas Street.

Officers of the Lennox & Addington OPP are asking for assistance from the public with an assault investigation.

A male party was assaulted on Dundas Street in the Town of Greater Napanee on Feb. 17, 2022.  The male party exited a restaurant in the area of John and Dundas Street where he was assaulted by an unknown person.  The male suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries during the assault.

Investigation has determined that the male party was assaulted at approximately 4:45 p.m.. Police are looking to identify a person of interest in connection with this investigation.   The person of interest is described as male, Caucasian, average height with a medium to slim build and brown/blonde medium length hair that is short on the sides and back. The person of interest was wearing:

  • a black mask;
  • a green “Sex Records” sweat shirt with a white hoodie underneath, white/light grey pants, and sandals with socks;
  • a black and white ball cap on.

This person of interest was a passenger in a 2016-2021 red Honda Civic 4 door sedan with black steel rims.
