Officers of the Lennox & Addington OPP are asking for assistance from the public with an assault investigation.
A male party was assaulted on Dundas Street in the Town of Greater Napanee on Feb. 17, 2022. The male party exited a restaurant in the area of John and Dundas Street where he was assaulted by an unknown person. The male suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries during the assault.
Investigation has determined that the male party was assaulted at approximately 4:45 p.m.. Police are looking to identify a person of interest in connection with this investigation. The person of interest is described as male, Caucasian, average height with a medium to slim build and brown/blonde medium length hair that is short on the sides and back. The person of interest was wearing:
- a black mask;
- a green “Sex Records” sweat shirt with a white hoodie underneath, white/light grey pants, and sandals with socks;
- a black and white ball cap on.
This person of interest was a passenger in a 2016-2021 red Honda Civic 4 door sedan with black steel rims.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance and ask that if you or someone you know has information as to the identity of the person of interest or you may have witnessed this assault, you are asked to contact L&A County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
