Police recover a male’s body from the Napanee River

The Lennox and Addington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have concluded their search of the Napanee River for a male party that went missing early this morning.

The Ontario Provincial Police Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USAR) divers, assisted by Lennox and Addington County OPP Marine Unit  located a male in his 30s in the Napanee River.

The identity of the victim has not been confirmed. The investigation is continuing with assistance from the Office of the Regional Coroner.
