On Sept. 18 at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers from Lennox and Addington County OPP, along with Napanee Fire and Paramedic Services responded to a five-vehicle collision on Highway 401 between County Road 5 and Switzerville Road overpass. Two transport trucks and three passenger vehicles were involved in the collision. One person was confirmed deceased at the scene and all other people were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and Collision Reconstructionist are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
