The Lennox and Addington OPP are investigating a single-vehicle collision on York Road in Tyendinaga Township.
On Aug. 27 at approximately 4 a.m., officers from Lennox and Addington County OPP responded to a single-vehicle collision on York Road in Tyendinaga Township. The single vehicle left the road at a high rate of speed striking a residence. The lone occupant of the vehicle was confirmed deceased at the scene. Although the house sustained significant damage, there were no injuries to anyone inside.
The OPP Technical Investigators and Collision Reconstructionist are assisting with the ongoing investigation. York Road is currently closed from Upper Slash Road to Young while the investigation continues.
