Police investigate pedestrian fatality at train tracks in Tyendinaga Township

On March 17 at 3:30 p.m. officers of the Lennox and Addington OPP responded to a report of pedestrian stuck by a train. It happened on the CN rail line, just east of Wyman’s Road in Tyendinaga Township.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at scene and the investigation has found no indication of foul play.

The victim has tentatively been identified as a resident of the Kingston area. The investigation is continuing under direction of the Regional Coroner’s Office.
