The Napanee OPP’s street crime unit completed drug busts Thursday at two downtown residences following the execution of search warrants.
The search of one residence produced 559 grams of marijuana and cocaine and 86 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Officers also seized cash and drug paraphernalia, police say.
Following that search, a 26-year-old local man was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime. The accused was held for a bail hearing in Napanee court Friday.
A second search warrant executed that afternoon resulted in the seizure of 70 grams of marijuana.
A 22-year-old Napanee man and a 23-year-old Napanee woman were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime. A 24-year-old Napanee man was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon. All three accused are scheduled to appear in Napanee court Dec. 19.
